Artwork Guidelines
Getting print-ready artwork
Good transfers start with good files. A few minutes here saves a reprint later.
File types
- PNG with a transparent background is the safe choice for DTF.
- Vector files (PDF, EPS, AI, SVG) print crisp at any size.
- JPGs have no transparency — anything white in the file prints white.
Resolution
- Aim for 300 DPI at the size you order. Our uploader shows you the DPI of every file.
- Screenshots and web images (72 DPI) will look soft when printed larger than a couple of inches.
Colour & detail
- Fine lines thinner than 1 pt and text under 6 pt may not transfer well.
- Semi-transparent pixels print as semi-transparent ink. Turn off drop shadows and glows unless that is what you want.
- Colour matching is not guaranteed — screens and film differ. Order a small test print for critical brand colours.
Sizing
Type the finished width you want; the height follows your file's proportions. Gang sheets are priced by the full sheet, so pack them tight with the Gangsheet Builder.
Not sure? Email orders@demoshop.test with your file and we'll check it before you order.
